Walk on Trinidad
of Trinidad • Walk
If I had the opportunity once again to take a trip to Cuba, I would definitely come back to Trinidad to once again walk through its narrow streets and feel the kindness of its inhabitants.

Trinidad was founded in 1514 by Diego Velazquez close to the Caribbean coast. In ancient times, Trinidad often suffered from attacks by pirates, but the residents of the city still thrives trafficking and sugar cane.
Trinidad is now protected by UNESCO, on the sly restored some areas of the city, although the house is mainly a ghostly reflect the luxury of bygone centuries of the colonial era.
Walking around the city, I do not listen to the guide - I was not, I was running around and clicked the shutter, trying as far as possible to keep up with the group, so no information about Trinidad sights I tell you I can not.
I'll tell you only that most stuck in my memory:
After excursions led us to dinner at some restaurant in the local hotel, where I unsuccessfully tried to order a drink, but could not due to lack of waitresses. So I decided to start off, I'm sorry, in the toilet. On the way to the coveted place it was to separate for ladies, with a wide open door, behind which Cuban women who find themselves on closer inspection the very same need me waitress, trying on bras. Yes, absolutely not embarrassed anyone. Apparently, the moment came saleswoman underwear and ladies, completely forgetting everything around, began to put on the sacred cloth. My opinion does not embarrassed them, and they continued their work. As a result, I had to wait for beer for a long time. After lunch, I continued walking around the city. I must say, Trinidadians, unlike gavantsev, with great pleasure to take pictures, smiled and waved goodbye hands. So when I saw on one of the street trader, who covered the camera from your product, I was somewhat surprised. And he traded wonderful woven from grass crocodiles, which I immediately wanted to buy one for yourself. Crocodiles cost mere pennies, so I immediately bought two. After paying, the merchant motioned that I still want to take a picture of it, and only if given permission.
I was so engrossed in buying that did not notice that my group had gone and I was left alone. I remember your the gathering horror - I was in a foreign country without knowing the language, with little or no cash (all of them were in the luggage on the bus), without a mobile phone, but what can I - I hardly even remembered to which city, my group had to go to spend the night after a tour of Trinidad. Besides, trying to find her, I was hit by a downpour and completely soaked.
Wander for 40 minutes, I went out of the side streets to the cathedral friend and decided to stay there until you're blue in the hope that sooner or later I will find. Fortunately, I was really looking for. Nervous for a while, I noticed in the distance the familiar silhouettes of his friends and happily jumped to him through the puddles. It turned out that the group unanimously decided not to leave without me and always be found. In general, it was nice. I remember that sitting in the bus, we had a drink dark rum for my salvation. What I, in fact, a valuable frame, yeah! :) In general, Trinidad - a beautiful city in Cuba will not go past!
