Of America Route 66 trip
This is one of the coolest and authentic routes on the planet. Here, in 17 days we were skyscrapers and crazy drive of New York City, Chicago hard, steaks and small towns of Texas, the Grand Canyon, noisy parties and casinos Vegas, Death Valley, California Sun, Hollywood. All this Route 66 through America.
Such trips are forever in our hearts. In fact, you're going on the road, which officially is no longer gathering it bit by bit as the greatest adventure in the world. I drove Route 66 is more than 5 times and each time found more than half of all new.

We flew to New York and immediately went to Times Square to feel the atmosphere of the city. Neon tall skyscrapers and taxi flying between them. I always drew his energy, it is everywhere, at every step, the steam rises from the ground, and the positive creative people are very different nationalities.

One day, being in New York, he will be forever in your heart.

It's about what you can see from my window, waking up among the skyscrapers of downtown. I still remember my first day in New York, when I loved to walk among such buildings with a glass of hot coffee in hand and good music in headphones.

Next, we went to the Brooklyn Bridge, with his great views of Manhattan and under it on Sunday in the area of Water Street bloshinka charming.

Wake up to New York, again with the Brooklyn Bridge.

where you can meet lots of interesting people from different countries. Although sometimes it seems that from different planets.

down from the bridge, you find yourself in Brooklyn, close to the pier. From 5 to 6 pm is a great light for various photo shoots and TV shootings, and you can often find some of the local celebrities.

Park in Brooklyn.

For the rest of the day we spent exploring the New York among the skyscrapers of 5th Avenue.

They wanted to play with the boys.

Easy shopping in SoHo.

The deserted Wall Street over the weekend ...

... and no less deserted neighborhoods downtown.

And all this despite the incomprehensible crowds in Times Square accompanied by the guys from the New York Police Department.

Next Upper East Side - Dima - Pinot Grigio - Metropolitan - black driver - West Village.

The difficult next morning and drive to Buffalo. On the way to lose. We meet the deer are back and have lunch in a small American cafe.

Niagara Falls. Cool place, but without the WOW-effect, really. Picture of a little spoil the huge number of Hindus is photographed against the background of a whole.

A view of Canada to Niagara.

to go to the side of Cleveland, we began to meet here such a thing as the old American theater, in one of them, we watched a movie in the open air, accompanied by the local sheriff.

a child's dream - the American napolirovannye trucks

The man somehow for a long time refused to photos and then called Andrew to talk to him one on one. Strange that.

The Great Lakes and the pride of American grandparents - old corvettes purchased new or even collected his own hands in the factory in Detroit. Weekend departure.

Detroit. When you first get here, the city is amazing. Completely empty houses and abandoned streets with skyscrapers in the center. City declined from 10 million to 800 thousand today.

Local in downtown Detroit.

In Detroit, after 80 has become a bit of work, but the last couple of years have been for some excitement. Local Tigers something to win in baseball, people appear smiles on their faces.

For all the time in the city we saw only 2 white people on the streets, one of whom escaped. We went on a 8 mile Eminem and were surprised that there is more or less all is well and safely. At the third time in Detroit, he opened completely on the other side, and I loved the city, but that's another trip and another story.

Then we waited for Chicago. The eternal rival of New York, with its jazz, crisp lines and skyscrapers.

It blends the old and the new America.

In general, it is very hard beautiful city. Smooth lines, glass and concrete. If the Germans have arrived on Mars, they would have built a Chicago.

The view from one of the Chicago skyline in the afternoon ...

... and night.

Millennium Park. One of the few places I liked the city.

Fat people in America - is another common myth. While looking at this image, so, probably, it is difficult to think about. Yes, they were there certainly is, warped junk food and soda liter, but in general they are not bigger than us. Almost always this poor population. Those who earn normally prefer sports and vegetarian meals + move mainly on the machines, so that they are not always seen in the crowd in the streets.

Another bit of American fast food

and a stylish business districts Chicago

In Chicago, we finally got the Convertible. In the beginning it was the Chrysler 200, then changed to the Mustang. Highly I recommend if you want to ride together without a roof on Route 66 under the great music.

START! Route 66 or the Mother Route, across America from the West to East Coast. With her gone America. All these little snacks, Coke machines and musical plates, met her, broke, had sex and who knows what else-was going on. In the 80 years the road washed away highways system, and now we collect it bit by bit, trying to move the authentic route.

Never aging Ford.

dead dead end at Chain of Rocks Bridge over the Mississippi at night.

And this is the first occurrence of the characters from the movie "Cars" on the road.

And another childhood dream - a school bus. Not very comfortable, but extremely beautiful.

The return to the family. Somewhere in Texas.

The boys bought the van in the '70s still fresh, and now travel to states. Inside it felt life hippie and very little space.

Cadillac Ranch. Dug into the ground a dozen Cadillacs 60s, it is now like a local Texas street art. Any inscription erased colors for the day, but it's still cool graffiti artists to stay, though, and on 5 minutes.

Then we kept Route 66, and the small towns followed each other one by one ...

... collecting artifacts of the old America.

... and throwing each other with ice cold water and the hot-air Texas.

Midpoint. Mid-way between Chicago and LA. Favorite place to stop traveling.
