• Walk to the best garden-vegetable garden near Paris
In Paris and its suburbs are many beautiful and lush gardens, but the most impressive one I came across by chance and decided to go in a not very tourist estate of Saint-Jean-de-Beauregard (Saint-Jean de Beauregard) 30 km to the south-west from the capital.
Saint-Jean - a huge private park in the English style, in the center of which stands a small castle, and is located next to a wonderful garden, vegetable garden, where the harmoniously flowers, plants, vegetables and fruit trees. Riot of colors and flavors, huge lawns and bright sunshine, proximity to Paris and privacy at the same time - it is not surprising that here come from apart whole families and for long periods, waiting patiently for the opening.
Dedicated to the upcoming villa-garden season.

Chateau Beauregard was built of light sandstone in 1612 at the behest of the royal councilor François Dupuis. It is believed that the name beauregard (fr. "Beautiful view") refers to the panorama of the valley of the river Salm, opening from the castle terraces.

On the terrace, I did not see anything special, besides the French garden was a pretty pitiful sight, as it was closed for renovation:

Around the castle stretches a large park in the English style, whose territory spread dovecote, an orangery, a chapel, auxiliary facilities and the glacier (freezer).
But the main manor pearl can be considered an incredible garden, vegetable garden (the best of all that I have seen in the outskirts of Paris), marked by the sign Jardin remarquable (fr. "Remarkable garden").

At the entrance of the breathtaking fragrances, shades of green and bright flower points.

The garden is divided into squares with the help of wide avenues of soft grass on which so pleasant to walk.

In the spring and summer you can watch the riot of colors and paints.

In the garden center adorned small round pool of water for irrigation, framed lavender. On a hot day, it sometimes seems that you suddenly found himself somewhere in Provence.

Greenhouses for table grapes are elegant, but empty. But the atmosphere is created by the right - as Herbology lessons in Harry Potter films.

In the center of flower squares Ogorodnaya is part of the garden. Here you can find rare or forgotten varieties of vegetables, such as grass pea, evening primrose or Biennial spinach strawberry, as well known to us tomatoes, squash, cucumbers and so on. D.

Of particular interest are fruit trees - apples and pears.

apple smell intoxicates instantly.

The first time I walked through the apple orchard, and I must say that the experience of such trips are the most striking.
