The complex Kul Sharif mosque has become not so much a cult as a cultural and educational complex and research center: a part of its premises is included Volga Islamic culture, the Museum of ancient manuscripts with the research part of the library.
The mosque was built on sponsorship, budget and citizens' donations. The names of all donors - both individuals and their more than 35 thousand people and organizations, more than 600 are included in the 5-volume book of memory. The mosque is open to visitors all the time.
