In 2007, French photographer Ryan (Réhahn) left its full bustle of life in France and moved to the quiet town of Hoi An in Vietnam. During the eight years of traveling around the country photographer took more than 50 thousand photographs, 147 of which were published in his first book of photographs, "Vietnam - a mosaic of contrasts" ( "Mosaic of Contrasts").
Photos Ryan talk about people and their way of life, culture and nature of Vietnam, which became the new home of the photographer.

In 2007, Ryan has thrown its full bustle of life in France and moved to Hoi An. That's when he took the bold decision to realize his dream of becoming a photographer.

After moving to Vietnam Ryan made more than 50 thousand pictures, traveling around the country on a motorcycle. In his first book of photographs, "Vietnam - a mosaic of contrasts" includes 145 pictures.

The book includes photos of the old town of Hoi An, Mu Cang Chai district and valley of Dong Van. Many of the shots Ryan remained unsigned, so readers may interpret them differently.

According to Ryan, he likes when people come to him with their own stories and interpretations of his photographs taken during his travels on the roads of Vietnam.

The main objective of the photographer - to grasp the essence, regardless of whether that is the subject of shooting: people, animals, or landscapes.
