Talented, well-known - and accidents. The irony of the fate is that of trying to get out of depression, cope with the pressure and relieve stress, these stars have gone too far. We remembered the legendary five celebrities whose life was cut short due to the fault of medicines.

Heath Ledger

1979 - 2008

Before the sudden death in January 2008, Ledger had time to complete its work on "The Dark Knight" and started shooting "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus", but never brought the matter to an end. January 22, 2008 the body of 28-year-old Ledger was found in his apartment in Manhattan. Because of the fatal mix of painkillers, sleeping pills and tranquilizers that Heath used the last months of his life, the actor's heart stopped.

Directed by Terry Gilliam I decided to still release "Imaginarium" and found a way out: the plot of Ledger's character goes into another dimension, where magical way several times changes appearance. "Got Game" for Heath agreed to Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell. Their fees actors gave Ledger's daughter Matilda.

Michael Jackson

1958 - 2009

As well as his life, the death of the King of Pop has been shrouded in speculation and intrigue. Michael Jackson died June 25, 2009, and the investigation of the death of the artist do the police and the Drug Enforcement Administration. Sleeping pills caused the death of Marilyn Monroe, a major sex symbol of the twentieth century: Monroe was found on the night of 4 to 5 August 1962 at his home in Los Angeles, the actress was poisoned by barbiturates. In the 60's enthusiasm for this sedative peaked, including among celebrities, and often leads to serious addiction and death. In 1966, the novelist Jacqueline Susann released novel "Valley of the Dolls", dedicated to the spread of dangerous antidepressants in Hollywood, and the following year saw the film adaptation of the book, which has become a classic of cinema. One of the main roles of Judy Garland was approved, but was later removed from the actress filming because of drunkenness. Ironically Garland died two years later due to an overdose of barbiturates.

Anna Nicole Smith

1967 - 2007

Anna Nicole Smith could become the epitome of the American dream, if not for her tragic and mysterious death, due to which the blonde came to be called the "second Monroe." Babe from Texas, not endowed with anything other than a pretty face and the nature of the breakdown, beginning with work in a striptease, and in 1992 her pictures appeared in Playboy. Two years later, 26-year-old beauty was married to 89-year-old oil tycoon Howard Marshall, who died a year after the wedding. Anna Nicole for 12 years trying to win himself a part of the inheritance. Exhausting struggle with the son of the deceased spouse was the cause of the young widow, depending on antidepressants. When in 2006 the proceedings were finally concluded in favor of Anna Nicole, the victory was marred by the death of her son Daniel from drug overdose. A few months later Smith repeated the death of his son 39-year-old actress died on February 8, 2007, using a (intentionally or accidentally) lethal cocktail of antidepressants - Klonopin, Ativan, Valium and oxazepam.

Elvis Presley

1935 - 1977

The king's death was not part of the plans: a musician going on tour, and immediately after wanted a wedding with his young girlfriend Ginger Alden, actress and model. It was she who found the body, and Presley's Aug. 16, 1977 in the bathroom of his house - the heart of Elvis has not sustained a double dose of sedative.
