Amazing nature of Crimea destined to be the dream of many generations of filmmakers! Of course, the film was shot on the peninsula today. But in the Soviet era, Crimea was a such a "Hollywood" of the Union. There starred in dozens of films. And Crimea "play" not only himself, but also portrayed abroad. For example, in America, "The Headless Horseman" by Vladimir Weinstock. Or Ancient Jerusalem - in "Master and Margarita" by Vladimir Bortko. In general, the peninsula had a chance to pretend to be in the movies all the continents! Well, except for Antarctica, to be exact. We decided to recall the most favorite movies that were filmed in the "Soviet Hollywood".

1. The film "Scarlet Sails" was filmed in 1961 on the eponymous novel by Alexander Grin. Director - Alexander Ptushko. Filming were predominantly Alupke, Koktebele and Yalta.

2 "Headless Horseman" - a film in 1973 based on the eponymous novel by Mayne Reid. Joint production of the Soviet Union and Cuba. Director - Vladimir Weinstock.

3. "Ordinary Miracle" - a film in 1964 based on the play by Eugene Schwartz (the first film adaptation). Director - Erast Garin. Part filming held in Vorontsovskoye Palace (Alupka).

4. "Mio, my Mio" - a joint Soviet-Norwegian-Swedish film (1987). Director - Vladimir grammar.

5. "The Blue Bird" - only a joint Soviet-American film-tale, 1975 (based on the play by Maurice Maeterlinck). Director - George Cukor. In the title role - Elizabeth Taylor.

6. "Magic Lamp of Aladdin" - a film 1966 on the fairy tale "Aladdin and the magic lamp" from the book "A Thousand and One Nights." Director - Boris knight. All the "Baghdad" was built in the Crimea.

7. "Ivan Vasilyevich Changes Occupation" - a film in 1973 based on the play by Mikhail Bulgakov "Ivan Vasilievich". Director - Leonid Gaidai. Crimea has appeared on screen in frames, where the director Yakin takes a musical number. The action takes place at the Yalta embankment.

11. "Three plus two" - film of 1963 by Sergei Mikhalkov's play "The Savages." Director - Henry Oganesyan. Comedy filmed in the Crimean village of Novy Svet (near Mount Falcon), on the Embankment Sudak and Alushta.
