A futuristic flying saucer 12 km from the Shipka Pass is visible far from the neighborhood, and in the warmer months, is readily available for those who like history and stalkers.
The monument on Mount Buzludzha opened in 1981 in honor of the Bulgarian Communist Party in the place where died heroically insurgent group Hadji Dimitar. Then, in 1886, Bulgaria was still under Ottoman rule.
