At first glance, it was hard to imagine that such a complex area with many layers of human history and unwanted building materials can be converted into decent housing. The architects had to go a long way to discover the beauty and bring it into the house.

The presence of three floors and a front door simplifies the problem of public and private areas; Naturally, the first floor was the day territory, including an entrance hall, lounge, kitchen and dining room.

Since one of the main attractions of the home is a picturesque terrace, located on the third tier had to tie it with a common domain when creating the private parts: a bedroom with an extra bathroom and a terrace on the second floor. After that there was the opportunity to go ahead and make a nice cozy living room under the roof of the building by setting two ladders, free to connect all volumes with each other. It was very easy to pick up materials for the textured brick and wooden surfaces. The addition of concrete and iron was an obvious choice, creating a striking contrast. Personal belongings of the owner organically filled rooms, perfectly fitting into the concept.

For furniture, stairs and walls needed a lot of recycled old wood. Initially it was wooden elements of old construction designs. But the designers of the opinion that the old materials can be used as new, had very helpful.
