Most of the villages of the world are similar to each other in the sense that they built simple, no frills, home they often perform extremely practical function and about any art or megadizayne and speech can not be. So it was the Tunisian village of Djerba, until one day did not come here just artists from around the world and made this small village a real concentration of a flight of fancy.

Conceived and organized the whole project Mehdi Ben Sheik (Mehdi Ben Cheikh), it was he who invited the artists, depicting a wide variety of styles and combined their work in one place - Djerba.

In total, this project, which was named Dzherbahud (Djerbahood) was attended by over 150 artists from 30 countries. "Zherstvami" creative people have become almost all flat surfaces - windows, doors, walls, gates and fences. Some artists create full mural, while others tried to create something interactive that would directly interact with the environment (for example, "a broken palm tree" standing next to a palm tree or a real man, "sitting" on the set next to a cart).
